A two-year-old child died and her mother was injured after forest department officials fired in the air to disperse a herd of wild elephants in Assam's Kamrup district.
A two-year-old child lost her life after a bullet accidentally hit her while her mother was injured after forest department personnel, during an operation, fired in the air to disperse a herd of wild elephants in Assam's Kamrup (Rural) district.
The incident took place at Bonadapara area under Boko police station in the district on Friday.
