Shares of Asian Paints surged more than 3 per cent on Tuesday ahead of the fourth quarter (Q4) results for the financial year 2021-22 (FY22) later in the day. The stock touched a day high of Rs 3,109 on the BSE index, climbing 3.30 per cent in early trade.

As of 12:29 pm, Asian Paints was up 2.12 per cent to Rs 3,073.50 on the BSE platform.

On NSE, the stock was trading 2.27 per cent higher at Rs 3,073.50.
