Asia Cup 2022: In a video that was shared by Indian cricket team's supporters' group, Bharat Army, a fan claimed that India fans were denied entry to the Dubai International Cricket Stadium for the final between Sri Lanka and Pakistan on Sunday, September 11.
A section of India cricket team fans claimed on Sunday, September 11 that they were denied entry to the Dubai International Cricket Stadium ahead of the Asia Cup 2022 final between Sri Lanka and Pakistan for wearing "India jerseys". In a video that is being shared widely on social media, an Indian fan alleged that supporters wearing the India Blue were being sent back.
The Dubai International Stadium was packed to the rafters for Sunday's Asia Cup 2022 final as it had a good presence of both Sri Lanka and Pakistan supporters.

Popular supporters group of Team India, 'The Bharat Army' shared the video of one of its members alleging that the "local officials and police" in Dubai denied entry to them to watch the finale between Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
India headed to Asia Cup 2022 as favourites but were they were knocked out of the race for the final with Sri Lanka and Pakistan making it to the final Sunday from the Super 4 stage.
"As an Indian fan, we were not allowed to enter the stadium, which is kind of weird. If there is any directive... we were literally asked to leave because we wearing Indian jerseys. I understand it if there was a directive to allow only Sri Lanka and Pakistan fans. But there is a way to do this," a fan claimed in the Bharat Army video.
Another fan said: "We were pushed by the cops. We came here to watch the cricket, have fun. But this is wrong, very wrong."
