Ashok Gehlot’s troubles are not yet over in Rajasthan. Here's why

There are many who are unhappy in the Rajasthan Congress and the Ashok Gehlot government. Reports from Rajasthan suggest that Ashok Gehlot enjoyed the majority support but the Congress stands a divided house. 

Rajasthan politics continues to be on the boil and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is still fire-fighting to keep his government safe. In the latest turn of events, the 13 independent MLAs, who had stood fast with Ashok Gehlot during Sachin Pilot’s rebellion in 2020, are now recalibrating their political strategy. The independent MLAs are said to have called a meeting on Wednesday evening to seek their reward for keeping the Ashok Gehlot government safe till date. One of the independent MLAs, Ramkesh Meena, hit out at Sachin Pilot on Tuesday saying that his rebellion was planned at the behest of the BJP.
