The professional relationship between BharatPe and its co-founder Ashneer Grover has hit rock bottom and become a topic of discussion in the corporate world. Surprisingly, it all started with a leaked audio clip on social media.
On January 5, a soundcloud link to an audio clip was shared on an anonymous Twitter handle.
In that audio clip, Grover was allegedly heard verbally abusing an employee of Kotak Mahindra Bank. The feud happened after Kotak Mahindra Bank was allegedly unable to get a share allotment of Nykaa's initial public offering (IPO) for Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover, according to News18 report.
On the very next day, Grover claimed the audio clip was fake.
On January 8, the audio clip was deleted.
On January 17, Grover's email spat dated August 2020 with a Sequoia employee surfaced.
Grover, on January 19, sent a letter stating he was going on a two-month leave of absence.
