Ashghal wins first position in award by RoSPA

Doha - The Public Works Authority (Ashghal), represented by the Quality and Safety Department, has won the first position among 2,000 participants worldwide in the "Best Government and Public Service Sector" in Health and Safety Performance for the Year 2020, which was granted by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) that is managed by the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees under the patronage of the UK.
The Quality and Safety team has prepared the submission for the award with high level of professionalism, containing more than 120 evidences to prove the level of occupational safety and health performance through actual implementations at Ashghal premises and its projects with high credibility and professionalism, including managing issues related to Covid-19 pandemic, and the commitment of Ashghal employees, contractors and consultants with the precautionary requirements to protect workers. On this occasion, the Manager of Quality and Safety Department at Ashghal Dr. Ali Muhammad Al Marri said: "Such wins prove the extent to which Ashghal is committed to local and international laws and standards of occupational safety and health, and also in preserving workers' rights."More Related News
