
Ashghal, Qatar Emiri Corps of Engineering join hands to exchange expertise

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and the Qatari Emiri Corps of Engineers (QECE) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of HE Dr. Eng. Saad bin Ahmed Al Muhannadi, President of the Public Works Authority and HE Major General (Eng) Essa bin Ali Al Kubaisi, Commander of the Qatar Emiri Corps of Engineers.
The MoU aims to enhance cooperation between the two entities, and benefit from resources through exchange of expertise, engineering and technical references for implementing projects in several areas, Ashghal said in a press statement Sunday.
The MoU specifies cooperation between Ashghal and QECE to develop human resources through conduction of training programs, events, discussion forums, and joint workshops quarterly.
HE Dr. Eng. Saad bin Ahmed Al Muhannadi, President of Ashghal said that the authority is keen to enhance cooperation and partnership with all state entities to implement various programs. He expressed pleasure for signing the MoU with Qatari Emiri Corps of Engineers to enhance cooperation between the two entities in many areas of training by contributing to build the project management system.
For his part, HE Major General (Eng) Essa bin Ali Al Kubaisi, Commander of Qatari Emiri Corps of Engineers said that QECE is proud to work closely with Ashghal to provide appropriate professional training programs for employees of both entities, pointing out that the common areas are chosen carefully to achieve highest levels of mutual benefit.
