Ashes 2021: England and Australia hold positive talks in bid to agree tour go-ahead

England's Ashes tour of Australia is likely to go ahead following positive talks between players’ representatives, the England and Wales Cricket Board, Cricket Australia and the Australian government on Tuesday.

The Joe Root-led England team may be all set to tour Australia for the Ashes ending weeks of speculation on their participation owing to a slew of Covid-19 restrictions in Australia.
