Congress's Rajya Sabha MP Naseer Hussain said that the BJP was being haunted in Bihar by what it did in Maharashtra, referring to the Eknath Shinde-led rebellion that toppled the MVA government.
Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Naseer Hussain on Tuesday said that the BJP was being stung by karma. Amid speculation that the ruling NDA coalition in Bihar is headed for a split, Hussain said the BJP was only getting a taste of what it did in Maharashtra, referring to the Eknath Shinde-led rebellion in the western state.
Leaders of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's JD(U) and the Opposition RJD are said to be in discussion to forge a possible alliance as the JD(U) breaks up with the BJP. Nitish Kumar is likely to meet Bihar Governor Phagu Chauhan at 4 pm on Tuesday to stake a claim to the new government.

“The results of the last assembly elections were manipulated to form the government, which continued to have its own share of troubles and frictions. It was expected that it would not last,” Hussain said.
“It’s the law of nature. Whatever the BJP did with the MVA government in Maharashtra, it is coming back to them. What you sow, so shall you reap,” he said.
Members of both houses of Parliament and the state legislature belonging to JD(U) converged in Patna on Tuesday to attend a meeting at his official residence.
