'Arzi aapki, marzi hamari': CBI court tells Anil Deshmukh on default bail pleas

The CBI court has adjourned the hearing of the default bail application to Tuesday.
Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and his personal Assistant Kundan Shinde sought an adjournment before the special CBI court in Mumbai for the hearing of their own default bail applications. To this, special CBI judge SH Gwalani said, "Every time applications are filed citing urgency at first, but there are adjournments that are sought. Now I will say, arzi aapki, marzi hamari [Your application, my wish]"
Advocates Shekhar Jagtap and Sairuchita Chowdhari appearing for another accused, Sanjeev Palande, pressed that they could argue the bail plea right away.
All three accused, Deshmukh, Shinde and Palande, had filed a default bail application stating that since only 59 pages of a chargesheet had been filed by the CBI, in the light of an incomplete chargesheet as it did not accompany any documents, they should be given bail.

The CBI, on the other hand, opposed the application stating that the chargesheet that was filed by them was complete and that they had been granted additional time by court to furnish the documents which they have done.
Special Public Prosecutors Vimal Soni, Sumedh Wankhade and A Bilgaiyaan appearing for CBI said that Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh would be appearing for the agency.
While Judge Gwalani asked CBI to take instructions on when he would be able to appear, the judge said to Jagtap and Chowdhari, "I think all the three applications are same while that of accused number 4 is different. According to accused number 4, he is not an accused and since he is not chargesheeted so he should be given bail. One line bail application has been filed."
