In the Aryan Khan drug case, panch witnesses Kiran Gosavi and Prabhakar Sail gave opposing statements to the SIT.
The panch witness in the drug bust case, Kiran Gosavi, in his statement to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had stood by the probe officials and stated that there was no deviation from process of arrest and seizure that had taken place. While his lieutenant Prabhakar Sail insisted that the NCB officials had made him to sign on blank papers.
Kiran Gosavi, who had been pulled up for clicking selfies with Aryan Khan, said that he told the NCB officials that he can recognise the suspects.
During the raid, when NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede mentioned that the cruise area is a restricted area and no one can enter there without prior permission, investigating officer Ashish Ranjan offered Manish Bhanushali, Prabhakar Sail and to be witnesses during the search and seizure at at the cruise terminal.

Gosavi along with Sail, was present with the NCB team at the international port terminal, when the team stopped five people, including Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant.
Gosavi said that though no drug was recovered from Aryan Khan, a small quantity of charas was found in Arbaaz’s shoes. Gosavi stated that Arbaaz himself took out the charas from his shoe after removing its sole. The NCB team weighed the drugs on the spot and sealed them into packets.
Gosavi claimed that he and Sail signed the panchanama at the terminal, after Ranjan and others put their signatures on it.
