BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa has demanded registration of an FIR against Mohammed Zubair for “fuelling hate propaganda against the Sikh community”.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa has filed a police complaint against Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair for “fuelling hate against Sikhs in India”. The BJP leader alleged that Mohammed Zubair “deliberately tried to spread hate propaganda against Indian cricket player- Arshdeep Singh and the entire Sikh community.”
Fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, who had dropped a catch during the India-Pakistan match on Sunday, was brutally trolled on social media after India lost the match.

Accusing him of “illegal and anti-national activities”, Manjinder Singh Sirsa claimed, “Mohammed Zubair who is the founder of Alt News and operates a Twitter account by the name zoo_bear has deliberately through his Twitter account tried to spread hate propaganda against Indian cricket player Arshdeep Singh and the entire Sikh community.”
