Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi shared a Golmaal meme on the situation, which received severe backlash.
Many Bollywood celebrities took to social media to voice their opinion on the Russia-Ukraine war. Actor Arshad Warsi also took to Twitter to share a Golmaal meme on the war, which did not go down well with the netizens. They criticised the actor for his 'insensitive' tweet.
On February 24, Arshad Warsi shared a Golmaal meme. The clip featured him along with Ajay Devgn, Sharman Joshi, Mukesh Tiwari, Tusshar Kapoor and Rimi Sen. In the meme, the characters were marked as America, Russia, Ukraine, and rebel-held sections of Ukraine. He captioned it, "Self-explanatory, Golmaal was a movie that was extraordinarily forward of its time (sic)." However, he later deleted the tweet after backlash.
The meme irked the netizens and they lashed out at Arshad Warsi for being ‘insensitive’.
