Arrested for murder, Siliguri youth confesses to killing another woman as well

A Siliguri man, arrested for killing a woman, reportedly confessed to another murder while he was being interrogated by the police.

A youth, arrested for killing a woman in West Bengal’s Siliguri, confessed to having committed another murder three months earlier, police said.

West Bengal Police in Siliguri had arrested Md Akhtar Hussain, a local resident of Matigara, on September 11 while they were investigating the murder of Ankita Mahali. The body of the 19-year-old woman was found on September 1.
