The Indian Army helicopter was ferrying senior officials back from the Combined Commanders' Conference in Gujarat.
An Army chopper made an emergency landing in Gujarat's Kheda district on Saturday due to a technical snag. None of the passengers, including an Army Lieutenant General, were injured in the incident, said police officials. The chopper took off from Kevadia in Narmada district on Saturday morning after the conclusion of the three-day Combined Commanders' Conference (CCC). Among its passengers were an Army Lieutenant General, an AOC Officer and a colonel along with two pilots and a technician. Officials familiar with the incident say the chopper made an emergency landing in an open farm near the road at Veena village in Gujarat's Kheda district.
