Armie Hammer’s mother, Dru Hammer, paid for the disgraced actor’s vasectomy when he turned 38 in August.
The pair talked about the unusual birthday gift when Dru appeared on Monday’s episode of her famous son’s “The Armie HammerTime” podcast.
“So I call Armie and I go, ‘Armie, what would you like for your birthday this year?’ And he goes, ‘Oh, I don’t know, maybe money, whatever.’ And I was like, ‘I believe I’m going to give you a vasectomy,'” Dru recalled.
Armie — who has two children, daughter Harper, 9, and son Ford, 7, with his ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers, and was exiled from Hollywood after facing allegations of sexual assault and cannibalism — said that he didn’t hesitate getting the vasectomy when he went to the doctor’s office.
“He was like, ‘Are you sure you wanna do this?’ I’m like, ‘I have two beautiful kids. I don’t want any more kids. I’m good to go,’” the “Call Me By Your Name” actor recalled.
