Armed man impersonating law enforcement arrested at RFK Jr campaign event in Los Angeles identified

A man carrying pistols and spare ammunition was detained Friday after impersonating a U.S. marshal at one of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s campaign events in Los Angeles.
In a post to X, formerly known as Twitter, Kennedy detailed the incident and expressed appreciation for the security guards at the Hispanic Heritage event who "moved quickly to isolate and detain the man." "I’m very grateful that alert and fast-acting protectors from Gavin de Becker and Associates (GDBA) spotted and detained an armed man who attempted to approach me at my Hispanic Heritage speech at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles tonight," Kennedy wrote.
