Arjun Kapoor reveals he wanted to do Fawad Khan's role in Kapoor and Sons

Arjun Kapoor said that he called up Shakun Batra as he was keen on doing Fawad Khan's role in Kapoor & Sons. At a point, the film was stuck as six actors turned down the role.

Arjun Kapoor has revealed that he was keen on doing Shakun Batra's directorial film Kapoor & Sons. The actor said that when he got to know that the film is stuck because the makers were struggling to cast for a role, he called up the director to show his interest. However, it didn't work out. Arjun wanted to play the role of the closeted gay novelist, eventually played by Fawad Khan.
