The midterm elections in Arizona include an essential gubernatorial race and a Senate seat that will determine which party controls the Senate.
However, the GOP only needs to capture a net of five additional seats in the House to gain a majority in the 118th Congress and hold at least one additional seat in the Senate. Polls and prediction forecasts indicate that the Republicans will likely take over the House, but the fate of the Senate will be decided in only a handful of states, including Arizona, Pennsylvania, Georgia, New Hampshire and Ohio. The GOP has a strong lead in several of these closely watched races.
