Arab Table Tennis Championships: Qatar finish second with 19 medals

Amman: Qatar’s teams made outstanding achievements at the Arab Table Tennis Championships in Jordan, winning 19 medals, including 4 gold medals, to occupy the second place in the overall standings.
Egypt won the first place in the tournament which witnessed strong competitions which took place amidst extraordinary circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Qatar's impressive show yesterday included a brilliant performance by Ahmed Khalil Al Muhannadi and Mohammed Abdul Wahab who emerged men's doubles champions after defeating their Bahraini counterparts in straight sets (15-13, 11-6, 11-3).
