Qatar Olympic Committee President HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani crowned Al Shamal team as the champion of the third Arab Super Cup for handball. Al Shamal defeated Al Gharafa 23/22 at Duhail Sports Hall. Sheikh Joaan handed over the Arab Super Cup to Al Shamal team captain Abdullah Hafez, while President of the International Handball Federation Dr Hassan Mustafa handed the gold medals to the teams players and the silver medals to Al Gharafa.
