Apple's new guidelines prohibit manufacturing partners from collecting biometric data such as fingerprints or facial scans of Apple employees who visit their facilities. The new rules, however, do not apply to workers employed by manufacturers or partners' employees.
Apple has introduced new guidelines for its employees all over the world that prohibit manufacturing partners and suppliers to collect biometric data from Apple employees. However, the rules do not reportedly apply to employees directly under the manufacturing partners or suppliers, which is being seen as Apple’s standards. According to online reports, Apple has prohibited its manufacturing partners from collecting biometric data such as fingerprints or facial scans of Apple employees who visit their facilities. The new rules, however, do not apply to workers employed by manufacturers or partners' employees who must continue to submit their scans to enter areas where Apple products are made.More Related News
