Apple Music will not offer free 3-month trial anymore 

Apple will now offer the industry-standard one-month free trial to Apple Music. The change will be applicable

First-time Apple Music users will no longer get a free three-month trial to the music streaming app. It has been reported that Apple has quietly shortened the free trial period from three months to one month. Apple will now offer the industry-standard one-month free trial to Apple Music.

The new development was first spotted by Mactakara and confirmed by 9to5Mac. Apple Music has mentioned on its website now that new users are eligible for one-month free access to the subscription. Previously, Apple let users listen to free music on Apple Music for three months. The free trial period was more than Apple’s rival Spotify and other music streaming giants.

The free trial period of Apple Music has been reduced in all countries wherever the services are offered. Apple Music is currently available in over 150 countries worldwide.

However, Apple is offering a free six-month trial, Apple Music trials for people who purchase the AirPods Pro, AirPods 2, AirPods 3, AirPods Max, Beats, and HomePod mini. “New subscribers can get six months of Apple Music free with an eligible audio device. Make sure your iPhone or iPad is running the latest version of iOS or iPadOS. Then you can activate your Apple Music trial after you pair your audio device to your iPhone or iPad. You’ll have three months to redeem the offer after the first activation of the eligible device. Any AirPods Pro, AirPods (2nd generation and 3rd generation), AirPods Max, HomePod, HomePod mini, Beats Fit Pro, Beats Studio Buds, Powerbeats, Powerbeats Pro, or Beats Solo Pro is eligible. No purchase is necessary for current owners of eligible devices. AirPods (1st generation), Beats Solo3 Wireless, Beats Studio3 Wireless, Beats EP, and Beats Flex are not eligible,” Apple noted.

This isn’t the first time Apple has reduced the free trials. Apple had previously reduced the Apple TV+ Free trial from one year to three months.

In India, the Apple Music subscription plan starts at Rs 49 per month, then there is an individual plan which is priced at Rs 99 and the family plan is priced at Rs 149 per month. The family plan includes unlimited access for up to six people, a personal music library for each member, personalized music recommendations for each family member and users can even add 1,00000 songs to your library.
