The Samyukta Kisan Morcha appealed to the Indian diaspora in the US to protest during PM Modi’s US visit. Rakesh Tikait said the appeal was given in order to remind the PM that the farmers in India are protesting for the past 10 months.
As Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in the US on Thursday, the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) appealed to the Indian diaspora to stage a protest in support of the three contentious farm laws.
The farm leaders uploaded videos appealing to the non-resident Indians to carry flags of the farmers’ unions as a symbol of protest against the three farm laws and in support of the ongoing farmers’ agitation.
