Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have reportedly purchased a farmhouse in Alibaug. The couple has apparently spent Rs 19 crore on it.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are one of the most adorable couples in the tinsel town. The lovebirds got married on December 11, 2017 and their wedding was a fairytale affair. Ever since, they have been leading a happy life together. Anushka and Virat became proud parents of a baby girl, Vamika, in 2021. And now they are a happy family of three. The couple has often collaborated professionally for brand commercials. Now, according to a media report, Anushka and Virat have purchased a plush farmhouse in Alibaug.
According to a Times Of India report, Anushka and Virat purchased a luxurious farmhouse in Alibaug on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi [August 31]. As per the report, the house will be set up on 8 acres of land near Zirad, a village in Alibaug. The couple is reportedly spending Rs 19 crore on the farmhouse. They have apparently made a deposit of Rs 1.15 crore to the government treasury.
In Virat's absence, his brother Vikas Kohli made the payment as the cricketer is in Dubai for the Asia Cup tournament. As per the report, the payment was done by a well-known real estate company named Samira Habitats. The couple also deposited a stamp duty of Rs 3.35 lakh.
On the work front, Anushka Sharma will be next seen in Chakda Xpress. The actress will be seen playing the role of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami in her biopic. Anushka has already started prepping for her part in the film.
The actress was last seen in Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film was one of the most-awaited movies of 2018 but it failed to work wonders at the box office.
