Anthony Edwards’ ridiculous poster jam ended up injuring Jazz’s John Collins

John Collins is dealing with a head contusion after he was on the wrong end of an Anthony Edwards dunk.
The Jazz forward escaped a concussion but is dealing with a head injury, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported late Monday night.
The posterizing slam dunk went viral as soon as Edwards threw down the one-handed jam over Collins eliciting a roar from the Delta Center crowd and bringing the Timberwolves bench to its feet.
Collins had attempted to contest the dunk on the fast break, but instead ended up being run over by Edwards, who put the ball into the net with such force that he dislocated his finger.
It wasn’t clear on replay if Edwards had caught Collins with a piece of his leg on the dunk.
Collins very clearly grabbed his head after the dunk and was ruled out of the game in the fourth quarter.
The first day of the rest of Daniel Jones’ dwindling time with the Giants arrived Wednesday, with Jones in the building, in the meetings, on the practice field (although not doing very much) and not at all part of the game plan for the next game, relegated to a non-participant role for the remainder of the season.
