The state-appointed Chandiwal judicial commission on Monday ordered former Mumbai Police commissioner Param Bir Singh to appear before it by September 7, else it may issue a warrant against him. Param Bir Singh has not appeared before the Chandiwal commission, constituted to probe corruption allegations levelled by the ex-top cop against former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh, despite repeated summons over the past months.
