Another NEET aspirant hangs self in Tamil Nadu's Vellore over fear of failing exam

A 17-year-old girl died by suicide in the Vellore district of Tamil Nadu over fears of failing the NEET examination. This is the third suicide reported in Tamil Nadu in connection with the NEET in September this year.
A 17-year-old girl, who had dreamt of becoming a doctor, died by suicide in Senur town in Vellore district of Tamil Nadu, fearing that she didn't perform well in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) that was held on Sunday.
The girl's father said she was depressed over not performing well in the NEET exams. She feared that she wouldn't be able to get the score required to clear the exam, her father said.
