A woman died after childbirth in Athani taluk hospital, in Karnataka, on January 23. Muthavva Santosh Golasangi (21) died of heavy bleeding after a caesarean operation.
She was due to deliver on January 31. But the doctors advanced it citing variation in her blood pressure.
Her family members have alleged that she died due to the negligence of doctors.
She was suffering extreme discomfort due to severe bleeding during delivery and the doctors advised taking her to another hospital. But she died on the way. The family said they would file a police complaint. The body was handed over to the family, police said.
