Another giant sinkhole opens up on NYC street
NY Post
A massive sinkhole opened up on the Upper East Side early Thursday, just days after another urban crater swallowed two cars across town.
The new sinkhole, at East 89th Street and York Avenue, opened up around 9 a.m., creating a traffic nightmare in the area as crews work to fill in the 20-foot hole, Fox5 News reported. “Due to a sinkhole, expected extensive traffic delays in the area of East 89th Street and York Avenue in Manhattan,” Notify NYC said in an email alert. “Consider alternate routes and allow for additional travel time.”More Related News
