BJP leader Annamalai compared the 'dynasty politics' of Shiv Sena and DMK and said a rebel leader would emerge in Tamil Nadu as well.
Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai on Tuesday drew parallels between the Maharashtra political crisis and the 'dynasty politics' in DMK, claiming another 'Eknath Shinde' might emerge, implying a rebellion within CM Stalin's party.
Addressing party cadres at Valluvar kottam, Annamalai said, "Two and a half years ago, a group of three parties joined hands to form a coalition like the DMK and Congress. Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress joined hands [in Maharashtra], the BJP, which had 105 MLAs, was pushed back and Sena with 57 MLAs formed the government. The Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh tortured as many BJP supporters as possible."
"Then Eknath Shinde came out with 12 MLAs. He went to Surat. This is Rajadharma. When it has to happen, it will happen. It happened after two and a half years [in Maharashtra], we'll see when it happens in Tamil Nadu," he added.

"Bal Thackeray's first son, Bindu Thackeray, wanted to act in films but his films didn't do well. Similarly, Karunanidhi's first son, Mu Ka Muthu, also wanted to act in films. Bal Thackeray's second son is Jayadev Thackeray. He is away from the family. Karunanidhi's second son is Mu Ka Azhagiri. He is also away from the family. Bal Thackeray's third son got the opportunity to become the chief minister and Karunanidhi's third son, Stalin, got the opportunity to become CM," Annamalai pointed out.
"Uddhav Thackeray's son Aaditya Thackeray has political ambitions, similarly Stalin's son Udayanidhi has political ambitions. Both are youth wing leaders of their respective parties. Tamil Nadu is ready for a cabinet shuffle. An Eknath shinde will emerge," he stated.
