Following the fresh spell of rain, flight operations were affected at Delhi’s IGI airport. Several flights were delayed due to showers and thunderstorms.

Earlier this evening, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a weather alert, “Thunderstorms with moderate intensity rain to heavy intensity rain likely over isolated places and gusty winds with a speed of 60-80 Km/h would occur over and adjoining areas of entire Delhi and NCR during next two hours."
