Anjanadri Hillock is Lord Hanuman’s birthplace: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams

Andhra Pradesh’s Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has declared Anjanadri Hillock as Lord Hanuman’s birthplace. TTD said its announcement is based on 'concrete evidence'.

Andhra Pradesh’s Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced that Anjanadri Hillock is Sri Anjaneya Swamy or Lord Hanuman’s birthplace. TTD said it researched with experts before announcing it on Rama Navami on Wednesday. "As a Chancellor of 20 Universities in Tamil Nadu, I know how difficult and tedious it is to do research and present evidence. I congratulate the entire Pandit team, which worked day and night for four months on Hanuman's birthplace. Ayodhya is Sri Rama's birthplace while Anjanadri is Anjaneya's,’’ said Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit during the event in Tirumala.
