The state government submitted an 82-page SIT report in the Anis Khan murder case at Calcutta High Court on Tuesday. The advocate general informed the court about the progress of the investigations, including the CFSL (Hyderabad) report and polygraph test.

Shamim Ahmed (lawyer of the petitioner) clarified that there was a misunderstanding. “We have full confidence in the court."
The court has ordered them to give a copy of the SIT report to the petitioner.
In its order, the Court said, "Anis Khan's father has made disrespectful remarks. We have instructed him to submit an affidavit seeking an apology A copy of the SIT report will be given to the petitioner. The report should be kept to them, should not be given to the media. The court wants a detailed discussion on this report."
