Anil Deshmukh's close aides Kundan Shinde and Sanjeev Palande have been sent to ED custody till July 1. They are facing probe in a money-laundering case and are suspected to be involved in a multi-crore extortion-cum-bribery racket.
Two close aides of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh were sent to Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody till July 1 on Saturday. Deshmukh and his aides -- Kundan Shinde and Sanjeev Palande -- are facing investigation in a multi-crore bribery-cum-extortion racket that was allegedly operational during his tenure as the state's home minister. The ED had arrested Sanjeev Palande and Kundan Shine late Friday night after carrying out raids against them and Deshmukh in Mumbai and Nagpur.More Related News
