Andy Murray said that it would be great if more players get vaccinated and he would support extra restrictions on unvaccinated players if they are implemented by the local government for the Australian Open.
Former World No.1 Andy Murray said that he would support extra restrictions on unvaccinated players at the Australian Open if that is what the local government implements. Victoria sports minister Martin Pakula said on Tuesday that players planning to compete at the first Grand Slam of the year should get vaccinated to give themselves the best chance of competing in Melbourne.
Tennis Australia has declined to comment on arrangements for players based on their vaccination status.
