Andy Murray beat Dan Evans 6-3 6-2 on Thursday and will face Rafael Nadal for a spot in the final of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship - his first meeting with the Spaniard since the 2016 Madrid Open semi-final when the Scot won 7-5, 6-4.
Andy Murray will face Rafael Nadal for the first time since 2016 when they play for a spot in the final in Abu Dhabi and the Brit said that he is relishing the reunion with his old rival. Nadal and Murray, both former World No.1 players, last played each other at the 2016 Madrid Open.
"These are the sort of matches I want to be playing. That's one of the reasons I'm still playing. It's obviously nice to play him at this event, we'll go out there and hopefully we'll put on a good performance and stuff. But yes, I want to be playing against these guys in the biggest competitions again," said Murray.
