Serie A: Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo has backed Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision to have declined a post-match interview after his first-half treble against Cagliari on Sunday.
Cristiano Ronaldo, on Sunday (March 14), attracted an outbreak of media criticism as he refused to give a post-match interview after Juventus’ 3-1 win against Cagliari. After Juventus’ UCL exit last week, Ronaldo helped Juventus shrug off the setback with a first-half hat-trick in the Serie A away fixture. His hat-trick was scored inside 32 minutes of the game and included a 10th-minute breakthrough goal, which was a header, followed by a goal in the 25th minute off a penalty and the hat trick goal was left-foot shot. The star forward celebrated by pointing to his ear, a response to the recent backlash. Juve boss Andrea Pirlo defended Cristiano Ronaldo’s decision to not face the camera after scoring a treble at Cagliari. Pirlo said that the star footballer had already done his talking with the way he performed at the pitch.More Related News
