Andhra Pradesh govt repeals three-capital bill

The YS Jagan-led government in Andhra Pradesh has decided to roll back the three-capital bill.
The YS Jagan-led Andhra Pradesh government on Monday, November 22, decided to repeal the three-capital bill. The state will have only one capital, said the government.
The Jagan Mohan Reddy government had brought in the AP Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of All Regions Bill, 2020, to give shape to its plan of having three capitals for the state, with the executive capital in Visakhapatnam, legislative capital in Amaravati and judicial capital in Kurnool.
