Andhra Pradesh Governor Abdul Nazeer condemns terrorist attack in Jammu & Kashmir. Expressing his profound grief over the loss of innocent lives, he says such senseless acts of violence have no place in society.
Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer on Wednesday expressed anguish and profound grief over the loss of innocent lives in the gruesome terror attack on tourists at Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).
In a statement, the Governor offered condolences to the family members of J.S. Chandramouli and Madhusudhan Rao of Andhra Pradesh, who died in the terrorist attack on Tuesday.
Mr. Abdul Nazeer condemned the “dastardly attack on tourists,” and said such senseless acts of violence had no place in our society, and the accused should be dealt with stringent punishment.
Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma said in a message on X that he was deeply shocked and saddened by the terrorist attack on the tourists. Targeting innocent civilians was a cowardly and inhumane act that must be condemned in strongest terms, he said, and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, and wished speedy recovery of the injured.
BJP State president and Rajamahendravaram MP Daggubati Purandeswari siid in a post on X that the attack was deeply shocking and heartbreaking. Attacking innocent citizens was utterly appalling and unacceptable, she said, expressing condolences to the families of the slain tourists.
