
Andhra MP, who criticised CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and asked court to cancel his bail, arrested for sedition

YSR Congress MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju was arrested from his residence in Hyderabad by CID on Friday on charges of sedition. The arrest comes days after he sought cancellation of bail granted to Andhra CM Jaganmohan Reddy in a disproportionate assets case.
The Crime Investigation Department (CID) of the Andhra Pradesh Police on Friday arrested YSR Congress Party MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju on charges of sedition. The MP was arrested from his residence in Hyderabad on his birthday on Friday. The Narsapuram MP was booked under sections 124A (sedition), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups), 505 (incite, any class or community of persons to commit any offence) read with 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.More Related News
