Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy held talks with chiefs of Tech Mahindra and Dassault on the sidelines of World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday held an interaction with chiefs of Tech Mahindra and Dassault at the AP Pavilion of World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.
The chief minister discusses potential areas of collaboration between the state government and the firms. CM Jagan Reddy pitched for the development of Visakhapatnam as a technology hub with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and sought investments in that sector.
Tech Mahindra chief CP Gurnani said the company will be working with the Andhra Pradesh government in the field of Sill development. In three months, we will be working with Andhra University on drafting syllabus for high-end technology for skill development, Gurnani said.
CM Jagan Reddy also held talks with executive vice president of Dassault, Florence Verzelen on skill development and new age energy.
"We are interested in investing in education sector and are looking forward to partnering with the State of Andhra Pradesh," she said in a statement.
The high-level delegation led by the chief minister will also hold discussions to make room for the industrialisation of interconnectivity, real-time data, mechanisation and automation as part of the goal of sustainable economic progress.
Later, a Swiss Parliament Member of Indian-origin, Niklaus-Samuel Gugger, along with his team met the chief minister and discussed trade opportunities in Andhra Pradesh.
