Amid the Russia-Ukraine crisis, Anand Mahindra took to Twitter to share an old Ukrainian army recruitment advertisement. The 66-year-old businessman also talked about the impact of conflict sharing the video.
It has been five days since Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine. According to Ukraine, 352 civilians have been killed since then. The entire world has its eyes glued in anticipation of what lies next for the people in Ukraine. Amid the Russia-Ukraine crisis, Anand Mahindra took to Twitter to share an old Ukrainian army recruitment advertisement. The 66-year-old businessman also talked about the impact of conflict sharing the video.
The video Anand Mahindra shared on Twitter is apparently from 2014. It shows Ukrainian soldiers in the line of duty introducing themselves as a father, bus driver, student and businessman. “None of us was born for war. But we are all here to protect our freedom,” the powerful message at the end of the video reads.
Sharing the video, the Mahindra Group chairman wrote, “This video was apparently made by them in 2014. It will always stand the test of time. The harsh, life-altering impact of conflict is unchanging (sic).”
