Amitabh Bachchan honoured with FIAF award by Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan

Amitabh Bachchan has been awarded with the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) award. Christopher Nolan and Martin Scorsese presented the award to the veteran actor via a virtual ceremony.
Amitabh Bachchan on Friday, March 19, was honoured with the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) award by filmmakers Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan via a virtual ceremony. The veteran actor is the first Indian to be honoured with the award for his contribution in preserving India’s film heritage. Scorsese and Nolan are previous recipients of the award. This year, filmmaker, film archivist and restorer Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, who is also the founder of Film Heritage Foundation, had nominated Amitabh for the award.
