Amit Shah has his bulletproof shield removed from podium before addressing crowd in J&K

Addressing the gathering at Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre, Home Minister Amit Shah said he wanted to speak directly to the people of J&K.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who is on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, had his bulletproof glass shield removed from the podium before addressing the gathering at Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) on Monday.

After the shield was removed, Amit Shah said he wanted to speak directly to the people of J&K. Amit Shah is on his maiden visit to J&K since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019.
