His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Heiko Maas and the accompanying delegation at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday. During the meeting, they discussed the most prominent regional and international developments, especially the developments in Afghanistan. The German Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his country’s thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir for the role of Qatar and its efforts in Afghanistan in supporting the peace process and evacuating civilians. Bilateral relations have also been reviewed, as well as ways to enhance and develop them in various fields of cooperation between the two countries. (QNA)
