Amir holds phone call with NATO Secretary General

Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held a telephone conversation on Friday with Secretary-General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) HE Jens Stoltenberg, during which they reviewed the cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and NATO, and ways to enhance and develop them.
During the phone call, the most prominent regional and international developments were discussed, especially the developments in Afghanistan. In this context, HE Secretary-General of NATO expressed his thanks to HH the Amir for the efforts of the State of Qatar in evacuating NATO members and their families from Kabul. The two sides stressed the importance of the peaceful transfer of power to achieve the interests of the Afghan people.More Related News
