Amid dengue surge, Centre directs states to focus on preventative measures

In a letter addressed to chief secretaries and administrators of all states and UTs, the health ministry said it is imperative that vector-borne diseases are brought under control without cutting corners for the war on Covid-19.
In the wake of dengue fever outbreak in Uttar Pradesh and other states, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written to states and UTs for prevention and control of vector-borne diseases.
