Ambani bomb scare: Suspended cop Riyaz Kazi sent to judicial custody; Vaze allowed weekly calls with lawyer

A Mumbai court remanded suspended assistant police inspector Riyaz Kazi till April 23.

A Mumbai court sent suspended assistant police inspector, Riyaz Kazi, an associate of suspended cop Sachin Vaze, to judicial custody till April 23. The court sent to jail custody since the National Investigation Agency (NIA) did not seek to extend his custody.Kazi was arrested by the NIA on April 11 after Sachin Vaze was sent to judicial custody. Both the accused were arrested by the NIA after a vehicle with 2.5 kg gelatin sticks was found near businessman Mukesh Ambani’s residence, Antilia, on February 25.
