Ambani bomb scare case: Uddhav Thackeray senses 'something fishy' in NIA taking over probe
India Today
Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on Monday said there seems to be "something fishy" behind the National Investigation Agency (NIA) taking over probe.
Hours after the investigation into the case involving the explosive-laden car which was found outside industrialist Mukesh Ambani's residence in Mumbai last month was transferred to the National Investigation Agency, Maharashtra Chief Minister said there was "something fishy" behind NIA taking over probe. A car with about 20 gelatin sticks and a threat letter addressed to the Ambani family was seized from outside the Ambani residence 'Antilia' on February 25. Days later, the body of the owner of the SUV, identified as Mansukh Hiren, was fished out from the Mumbra creek in Thane on Friday. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is now sensing "something fishy" in Centre taking over the case. He said governments come and go, but the official administrative machinery remains the same and one needs to trust it.More Related News
